Positioning Hardware

Over 200 models of high-precision positioning products offered. This diverse line covers literally all positioning needs for Near-Field, Far-Field and Compact Ranges.

ORBIT/FR has earned a reputation for the highest quality and outstanding performance of its positioning hardware products. Antenna measurement applications and especially Near-Field measurements require extreme precision (can reach 1/1000 of a degree) while having the capacity to handle extreme loads (up to full-sized aircraft).

Software

ORBIT/FR provides two premier software suites for testing, data-acquisition and analysis, supporting all types of antenna measurements.

• The 959 Spectrum represents the sixth generation of automated measurement systems from ORBIT/FR. It serves as the most reliable, flexible, and comprehensive automated software in the industry. The 959 Spectrum incorporates over 13 years of customer feedback and requests for capabilities. With this, the software incorporates many of the 'lessons learned' from previous systems. • The MiDAS is conceptually a data-acquisition and analysis engine, supporting all types of antenna measurements (e.g. Far-Field, Planar, cylindrical and spherical Near-Field and compact range). That means that the same software application is used for various systems, utilizing same file format and user interface. The MiDAS antenna software suite is a complete automated antenna measurement system operating under Microsoft windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP. Designed for engineers, MiDAS offers advanced graphical user interface (GUI), and ensurs ease and simplicity of operation.

ORBIT/FR provides software suites for radome measurements based upon your locale. Our automated software provides for simultaneous motion to track the antenna peak.

ORBIT/FR provides software that provides Over-The-Air (OTA) performance testing for mobile devices. Total Radiated Power (TRP) and Total Isotropic Sensitivity (TIS) are just two of the many parameters calculated.
